About us

Pollif Projects aims to…

Promote and realize transdisciplinary projects in the broadest sense of the word, exploring both the non-human (that which surrounds humanity: nature, society, culture, etc.) and the fundamentally human (that which resides deep within the human being).

We seek to achieve this goal by producing text- and image-based narratives, organizing artistic interventions, and creating music and theater performances that stimulate our human empathy.

Pollif Projects seeks to present an alternative to the notion that the world is fully malleable. We want to invite introspection as well as wonder and surprise, through collaborations with scientists, artists, and activists. For this goal, we aim to discover as many creative forms as possible to demonstrate that everyone is capable of imaginative empathy.

Who we are

Pollif Projects consists of a board of administrators and two artists (Mirthe Dokter and Tim Hammer) who specialize in artistic fieldwork within a scientific context. They use co-creation to translate ecological research into shared experiences, giving a voice to the non-human and the deeply human.
